Seabrooks Black currant is an early to mid season currant that produces heavy clusters of medium sized fruit on a compact, upright shrub. Flowers emerge late making it a good choice for areas with late frosts.
Popular in much of the rest of the world but less common in the U.S., black currants are one of the most nutritious berries overlooked by many Americans.
