Pristine Apple is a disease resistant apple produced by Purdue University 1994.
The apple is a very early but late blooming beautiful lemon-yellow color with a perfect finish. This high quality apple is very productive and is a good keeper for an early apple. Apples are subject to bruising and scald. Great for dessert and applesauce.
The tree is vigorous, spreading, and has wide crotch angles. Field immune to scab, resistant to powdery mildew, moderately resistant to cedar-apple rust and fire blight.
