Cynthiana Wine Grapes
Cynthiana Wine grape, A gold medal winner year in and year out, made famous in Arkansas and Missouri for it's Cabernet style of wine often called the Cabernet of the Ozarks. Derived from a wild grape possible over 200 years ago , it's fame has spread and now is being grown in most parts of the United States. Cynthiana is it's name in Arkansas but it is called the Norton in the state of Missouri. So disease resistant it can be grown in Pierce infected areas, and hardy enough to be grown up into zone 5. Cynthiana is a true Lambrusco discovered in the wild and planted in commercial vineyards , a true American legend.
