BP1 Ever-bearing Red Raspberry is a cross between Polka and Tulameen, developed by the Berry Plant Company in Italy. The fruit is very high quality, lighter in color than the Polka and excellent flavor attributed to the Tulameen parent. Plants are moderately vigorous, producing tall, upright canes. BP-1 is a primocane variety, but a floricane crop can also be harvested. The primocane crop is approximately at the same time as Caroline. The floricane crop is considered early similar to the Nova variety.
